About the Team:

About the Role:
As part of the inaugural Live Chat team at Smile, you love making connections and empowering people to help themselves. As the team grows, you will help us define and shape the processes and practices that make live chat a seamless and positive experience for Smile customers and not-yet customers. The ultimate success will be merchants coming away from live chat looking forward to the next time they need to get in touch with us. ✨

What you’ll help us achieve:
  • Successfully launch and implement live chat support for Smile 
  • Have human conversations with merchants to answer questions about Smile, to provide how-to guidance, to identify and resolve minor issues
  • Be the first line of defense for triaging & light debugging of platform issues 
  • Assist merchants when escalating matters to other teams for more specialized support by setting expectations around follow-up times and next steps

Job Overview

The Perfect Keto Demand Planning Manager is responsible for managing the sales forecasting and demand planning processes of Perfect Keto which include activities such as building historical baselines, calculating baseline forecasts, working with the commercial team to establish incremental forecasts for promotions, and other marketing events; as well as build assumption based projections for new product launches or product extensions. This role will manage and facilitate sales forecasting activities. In addition, the role is expected to build, manage and maintain all demand planning-related tools, and historical data repositories.

Responsibilities

  • Building, managing, and maintaining forecast models and tools. Continually improving statistical forecasting models and methodology for both mature and new product launches. Accountable for forecast accuracy improvement.
  • Leading the sales forecasting and demand planning process through interface with retail, marketing and finance to ensure timely development of an agreed-upon forecast which ties to financial projections.
  • Works with the Finance team to determines optimal inventory levels across all SKUs
  • Providing input in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Developing and implementing tools and processes to improve forecast capabilities, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with retail team and retail team leadership through excellent listening and communication skills to ensure an effective sales forecasting process.
  • Building incremental forecasts using event-based modeling or similar techniques.
  • Building new product launch or extension forecasts to support company growth and submit accurate demand projections to the supply chain team.
  • Establishing continuous communication with supply planning and production scheduling to provide information on daily/weekly changes to demand

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in statistical forecasting, statistical modeling, demand planning in the CPG industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical forecasting tools.
  • Managed and facilitated sales forecasting and S&OP review meetings.

Senior Android Engineer

The Job

Come help us make the Pronto Android app, a mobile-first realtime messaging and video communication app, a delightful experience for our customers. Pronto is used every day by students, retail workers, hotel management and many others (including ourselves) for daily communication and we strive for absolute excellence in the end-user experience on Android. If you’re an experienced Android engineer with a passion for the platform and for taking complex technologies and making them easy to use across a multitude of Android devices, we want to talk to you.


Your Role

Take a lead role in building the Pronto Android app and making it easy and enjoyable to use. You’ll work with technologies such as WebRTC and WebSockets to craft a beautiful native, realtime experience on Android. You will obsess over the details of the entire Android experience, from model to networking to UI,  improving performance, transitions, and animations to make customers delight in their interaction with an app they rely on for communication throughout their day. You’ll work closely with a small team of experienced engineers that will value your expertise and look to you for leadership and new ideas.

Your Day-to-Day

  • You’ll own the Android experience and guide the team to knowing what’s possible and feasible to implement on Android.
  • You’ll identify unique, native Android features that can be added to streamline the Pronto experience.
  • You’ll collaborate with the design and core engineering teams to brainstorm new features and prioritize maintenance work.
  • You’ll develop the Pronto native Android app using Kotlin and Java.
  • You’ll recommend, and drive the adoption of, frameworks and technologies that will improve the Android client experience.
  • You’ll triage issues and work with our support team and customers as needed to identify and fix bugs.

Ideal Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with the past 2+ years focused on the Android platform.
  • A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency, etc.)
  • Experience building data, network, and UI-intensive Android apps that work reliably across a wide variety of devices and API levels.
  • Experience building internationalized and accessible apps (for international audiences and those with disabilities).
  • A portfolio of production-level Android work that you can show (or at least talk extensively about).
  • A passion for great mobile UX and design.

Rewatch is the system of record for all of a company’s internal videos and creates a private and organized video channel for teams. The product automatically transcribes every meeting, all hands, and product demo so you can search all the spoken content across every video and unlock the company knowledge trapped inside.
