Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be taking inbound calls from Teladoc customers. You'll help connect patients with doctors, assist with patient registrations, verify memberships, set appointments, help manage billing, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.

You'll be taking calls and making money from the comfort of your own home.

Plus, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don’t. You'll have the freedom to schedule around your own needs, the needs of your family, and the important events in your life.

Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, available in one of three blocks: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM ET, and 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM ET. You'll be assigned to the block of your choosing and have the freedom to set your own schedule within that block.

Essential Functions:



  • Answer incoming calls 
  • Review customer history as necessary 
  • Follow policy and procedure guidelines 
  • Register patients 
  • Verify memberships 
  • Add customer to the appointment queue 
  • Help answer billing questions and resolve billing issues 
  • Help with basic technical issues 
  • Document information and outcomes as necessary

About You:

Prior customer care experience is required. A medical background is a huge plus. You will need a paperless work area and cell phone free environment. In addition, successful Customer Service Representatives have the following characteristics:

To be a Customer Service Representative for Teladoc, you will need a computer and equipment meeting the following specifications, at a minimum:



  • Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite)
  • Operating System: Windows 8 or Windows 10 
  • Processor: Intel Core or Intel Pentium 4 
  • Memory: 2GB of RAM 
  • Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1024 x 768 pixels 
  • Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) 
  • Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software 
  • Headset: USB noise-canceling headset 

NexRep contracts with people in 41 states and the District of Columbia. The only states we do not currently contract in are: AR, CA, IL, MO, NJ, NY, OR, RI, and WA. We do not currently contract with anyone outside of the US.

Datalot is building some of the most innovative advertising technology for the insurance industry. We are in an exciting time of growth, and looking for remote-based Customer Service Reps with strong verbal communication skills.

This is a part-time position, up to 28 hours per week. We offer a competitive hourly rate + the opportunity to earn commission. This role is available to those individuals who reside in and work in the state of Florida.

In this role, you will receive training on how to use our proprietary system, to allow you to do the following:
• Field both outbound and inbound customer phone calls
• Aid in the handling of and resolving of customer inquiries as needed
• Transfer customers accordingly to the appropriate individuals and/or departments
• Act in a professional, friendly manner with a willingness to help customers

Qualifications:
• A quiet, private place in your home or personal office where you can work without background noise or distraction
• Previous experience in a retail and/or customer service role is highly desired
• Basic computer skills, and the ability to read computer-generated scripts
• Be able to speak clearly to effectively communicate with customers
• An appreciation for helping customers in a friendly and positive manner

Customer Experience Representative

Summary/Objective

Are you keenly familiar with going above and beyond for a client and do whatever it takes to deliver world-class service? If so, this job is for you. This position will be part of our customer-facing support team; the ultimate goal for this position is to continue strengthening the experience customers have when interacting with Cables and Sensors. We expect every contact a customer makes with our company to be outstanding, and significantly above industry standards. Strong communication skills and radiantly positive disposition will help us to retain customers with an experience that sets us apart and keeps them loving us.

Essential Functions
Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department procedures.
Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items.
Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
Maintains and updates company process documentation.
Is obsessed with our customers and providing value at every touchpoint.

Competencies
Outstanding customer focus, the capability to provide experiences to customers that are beyond the industry average.
Problem solving and analysis, be able to resolve minor problems and make the appropriate decisions to make things right for the customer. Be able to identify between a minor and major problem.
Time management, the capability to be efficient with time, dedicate efforts where they matter.
Multi-tasking, be capable of managing multiple calls, emails and an onslaught of information during times when pressure increases and be able to manage them calmly and error-free.
Communication proficiency, great communication skills both verbally on the phone and in writing by email. Demonstrate high attention for detail in grammar and spelling.
Teamwork orientation, capable of working with a remote team, being involved and enjoying a friendly and warm work environment.
Technical capacity, fluent with the use of online tools, desktop software, and mobile apps.
Capacity to make decisions, being able to make decisions when assisting a customer, being able to identify when to request assistance from a supervisor vs. being able to make a self-made decision.

Work Environment
This job is a remote position. All office and computer equipment required to perform its duties will be provided by C&S. A dedicated, private, quiet location with a strong wired internet connection at home will be required for this position. Background noises should be strictly monitored as a professional environment must be communicated over the phone.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and we are open from 8am-7pm EST.  You will be expected to be available for an 8-hour shift within that timeframe.

Travel
Minimal travel is expected for this position. Typically, our team meets once or twice per year in Florida for team meetings; these trips or other training-related travel is required.

Required Education and Experience
3 + years of recent experience with customer service is required.
Strong experience in environments where multitasking is required
Experience following and executing complex and detailed procedures
Background in data entry/management
